Description

The akrilonPRO-XNC (Mineral Wool)system is a non-combustible variation of the akrilonPRO-NC exterior insulation & finish system (EIFS). It incorporates the use of Akrilon’s non-combustible rated STYRO-WALL N.C. basecoat (tested to CAN/ULC S114) and a fire-resistant mineral wool fibre insulation. The akrilonPRO-XNC is specified where issues of limiting distance between adjacent buildings is a concern. The akrilonPRO-NC assembly also features a secondary weather resistant barrier (WRB) membrane and a vertical drainage plane to help manage moisture.
