Description

The akrilonPRO-CB cement board finish system is a durable, dual barrier cladding assembly incorporating an impact resistant, lightweight cement board sheathing. The system is designed around ‘rain screen’ principles that include furring strips (wood or metal) to move the finish system away from the substrate thereby creating a drainage plane and allowing the convection of air to help manage moisture. The akrilonPRO-CB system is an excellent alternative to field applied Portland cement plaster (stucco). EPS insulation can also be used (between the furring) to increase the total R-value of the assembly.
